I know Emily Skinner played Ursula on the demo cd but does anyone know who the rest of the cast were? Kerry Butler as Ariel?

Kerry Butler was Ariel and Gavin Creel was Eric, however, that's all I know.

I have heard the demo (can't give it out, sorry!) and I don't think the Eric is Gavin Creel on it, I know he was SUPPOSED to be Eric but I don't think it's his voice. Because Gavin's voice is an eargasm, and while the Eric on the demo is dreamy it's just not the same timbre. JMO...does anyone else have an idea?

Cheyenne Jackson was Eric. He said it on his website.

I think that was a different version where Celia Keenan-Bolger was Ariel and Cheyenne Jackson was Eric, I believe. The demo that they're talking about had Kerry Butler as Ariel and Gavin Creel as Eric, I think.

It was definitely Gavin Creel on the CD. The lack of eargasmic quality in Gavin's voice actually comes from the poor quality of the recording. But it's definitely him.

For those who have heard it was it good. I never have been a huge fan of Kerry's voice so do you think she sounds good. how did you get to hear it?

On the Demo:
Ariel: Kerry Butler
Eric: Gavin Creel
Triton: Jeff McCarthy
Ursula: Emily Skinner
Scuttle: Buddy Hackett
Sebastian: ? didn't recognize the voice

Some of the new material is very good. But the new songs for Scuttle and his crew of Albatross's kind of sound like Children's theatre songs ("Positoovity"). I'd love to to Liza or Harvey as Ursula. The songs have a vampy, campy lounge feel and I think they would be wonderful casting.
