Little Miss Sunshine

I recently watched the film "Little Miss Sunshine" for the first time and absolutely loved it! Is anything more going to come of the William Finn musical adaptation or has it died a death since its tryout at the La Jolla Playhouse? Is it likely to come to Broadway?

The show at La Jolla Playhouse was gawdawful. They often use LJP runs to attract investors, I'm not sure that one would have gotten them any. I didn't hear anyone coming out of the theatre saying they liked it. I'm not sure that version is worth saving (full disclosure: when I saw the first production of "Peter and the Starcatchers" at LJP, I would have said the same thing...although it did receive a warmer reception from the audience)
