Little Shop of Horrors! Rehearsals Begin!

My daughter's friend knows one of the production people at the Production Company and said rehearsals are due to start on Monday!

Can't wait for this one to finally make it to Broadway!!!
It's been a long journey to get there, but with THIS cast!
(Hunter, Kerry, Rob, Doug and Leon!!!!)

IT WILL BE AMAZING!!!

is the song mean green mother from the movie going to be added in
the show? i hope so its a good song!!

In a word, no. It doesn't really fit into the final 15 minutes of the stage version.

Actually, it could. I did LSoH a few years ago with an absolutely brilliant (professional) director and she fit in Mean Green Mother. It was an incredible scene :)

My brother, who is not Broadway savvy, was at his lawyer's office in Manhattan. And he mentioned that this beautiful black girl who was the receptionist, he forgot her name, was leaving that week to star in "the Horror play". I could have killed him and told him to call his lawyer friend and ask the gal, get her name first, for some tickets to the show and a backstage pass. He would not do it. Could you believe this? She is probably playing one of the Chiffons.

The three girls were always my favorite. Crystal, Ronette, and Chiffon...what excellent names!

I'm as jumpy as a virgin at a prison rodeo!

I think Little Shop may be the most anticipated show this season, I AM SOOOOO EXCITED, and cannot wait for it to open, and especially with such an amazing cast!!!!

I am, of course, greatly looking forward to this production. The FL tryout was terrific, but almost identical to the Off-Broadway production. I'm so excited to find out what they'll do to change it. It's such a perfect show for a small Off-Broadway theater. I hope it doesn't lose its spirit by adapting it for a Broadway house.
