Posted: 9/7/04 at 7:31pmI don't know how good Little Women is going to be. I mean I love Sutton Foster! I was obsessed about her until I saw Wicked. But the idea of making a musical out of a classic story like that is odd. I heard some of the songs on Littlewomenonbroadway.com I actually like BETTER but the rest are ok. I know they're just singing w/ piano so it would sound better on stage but I don't know. I guess we won't find out until it opens. What do you guys think?

Posted: 9/7/04 at 8:09pmI don't think it will do bad. It may sell out a couple of shows in the beginning (as a result of being new and people wanting to see Sutton Foster), but most likely in the future, it won't be difficult to get tickets.

Posted: 9/7/04 at 8:15pmI can tell based on the clips on the website and Sutton Foster's involvement, that Little Women will be the show of the year. Good Vibrations and Brooklyn have also peaked my interest. But, this far ahead, I'm picking Little Women as the surprise victor come Tony Time.

Posted: 9/7/04 at 8:27pmIt really depends on the reviews I think. It could go either way. Im routing for it! In a world full of pop/rock musicals (although they are very good, gotta love my wicked :)) we need a good solid old fasioned musical. I love the songs too. All the shows this year sound promising.

It is not odd. Les Miz. and Phantom are based on classic stories. Just look at the success of those shows? And even those books can be boring, like Little Women." Let's just wait and see......

Tickets are already on sale.
And believe me, Sutton will not disappoint.
I think this is going to be very popular... for many reasons.
But, very good. I just can't wait to hear the music with an orchestra.
