Does anyone know if they are making sheetmusic to Little Women the Musical? I am in love with the show and the music! Please let me know if they are! Thanks! :)

I hope they are!
Doubt it though re: Little Women sheetmusic

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

I talked to one of the big wigs at MTI and they said the Little women music wont be out until probably the end of the year, and the rights (thought you might like to know) wont be out until the first natioal tour is over. So that means no high school or community theater reditions of Little women from hell. I hope itcomes out soon, this is like the first thread I think i've read where people actually liked little women,I absolutely love it , I saw the first ever matinee at Duke University back in september, and have loved it since.

As a choreographer this means that I will be forced to sit behind a table and listen to dozens of 11-17 year old girls attempt to sing 'Astonishing'. I want to cry now!

I love this show too. Saw the first show back in October at Duke and again when I went to NYC for my birthday.

Can't wait for the sheet music, but I wouldn't dare think of auditioning with "Astonishing". LOL

I'm sorry for the inevitable agony you'll have to face, WonderBoy. re: Little Women sheetmusic

Wonderboy, I hear you loud and clear, I would rather listen to a lifetime of Wing than listen to teen girls butcher some of my favorite songs from little women.

Oh, it's okay, at least I have a heads up. I suppose it will be this years 'Defying Gravity' and 'Popular'. I'll just have to remember to not be eating or drinking whenever someone sings that because I fear I would possibly choke!

I've heard way to many people sing Defying Gravity and What is this feeling very badly, but I dont wanna hear girls try to belt that high, it always ends badly, and me going home and clensing my pallet by listening to some David Hasselhoff. Yes, that bad.

Cherry Lane is going to publish a songbook... not sure how many songs from the show will be in it but many of them, I believe. (They are the publisher of the Astonishing sheet music).

I liked the show. Not loved it. I thought the book was a little boring. But Sutton was the most amazing person I have ever seen perform on stage. That's why I saw the show in the first place. I am getting more and more used to the music. I actually love a lot of it. I don't think Astonishing, etc. be next year's Wicked because not nearly as many people know about LW as do Wicked. I have many friends that know all of Wicked but never knew LW was a show even. It, obviously, wasn't nearly as successful as Wicked and I think that will put a damper on the number of Astonishings you will hear. At least, I hope so.

But I don't WANT "Astonishing" (well...I do...but...yeah). I want "Small Umbrella In The Rain".

I love that song dearly.
