Just wondering if anyone besides me saw the ad in this month's "Seventeen" for Little Women the Musical. I've tried to get to the website, but so far no dice. oh well. What does everyone think about this? Good Idea/Bad Idea??
What are the songs going to be like???
"My name is Beth
I go to my death
you all will cry
when I die"
just kidding......but not really.
The Little Women's Website as advertised in 17

that's what it said in the magazine, so I'm just as lost as you!

I saw the ad and Sutton is starting to do PR> There was an interview with her in Newsday today (They called Hunter "Hunter Sutton" and got her Tony year wrong) and she was on The Today Show, which I missed!

Thanks!

The show didn't offically open yet, it's still in previews. Therefore there are no reviews yet.

Any fan reviews from previews at least? re: Little Women the Musical

I'm going to end up watching it anyways, but it's nice to have something to work with! LOL!

There's been at least 10 the last 2-3 weeks. Do a search. I even made one. I think it's called "PJ's Little Women Review."

I'm seeing it February 6! Sutton Foster remembers me from the Snoopy rehearsal in April!

Thanks Priest! Loved your reviews by the way. A little disappointed though... I was hoping that there would be that one great new original show this season. Ah well, maybe they'll work out a few bugs before opening night. :)

I am hoping they work them out, too.

I bet some will be fixed, but some were unfixable.

But it was still a nice, cute show, flaws and all.

I got that "Hunter Sutton" misstype too in today's Star Ledger, Liz Smith's column. Yes, they got the Tony year wrong, and I think I remember reading somewhere that Sutton did "Annie" in community theatre when she was living in Augusta, GA., not Michigan, where she went to high school.
Liz also states that BROADWAY IS BLESSED with the tall, slim, radiant persona of Sutton Foster, currently starring in a musical version of Little Women. Indeed, at least she got that point right.

I noticed the school thing, but it was a quote from Sutton so I didn't post it.

Wait, Sutton was on the Today Show???? WHEN????? Soooo sad I missed it.
Where do people find this stuff out?? Is it on a website somewhere, or do you have to look at each individual station? Someone PLEASE let me know of anymore of her appearances!!!!

broadwaybaby81- I loved Little Women. I posted a review a long time ago from Duke previews, but I think it was called My Little Women Review 10/16. It has gotten better since then. I saw it again last week.

I saw Little Women on the 28th and it was Ashtonishing! I love Sutton and I was so shocked how sweet the cast was when they came out. I heard about the Hunter Sutton mistake and think that those who don't know who he are deserve a whack on the head. He was fab in shop. But back to my point. Set is awesome, cast is awesome and well the songs, though not very memerable are still great...
