Hey all-
You've probably noticed last nights and the few other recent "blips" in service... I can happily report that it's simpy do to an overload in traffic, and that new hardware is on the way to handle the load. I'll shout when it's all going in probably sometime over the next week.
Until then - just help us by thinking happy server thoughts. ![]()

I LOVED those shows! Sabrelady, Perhaps you can answer an old, old argument I had with a friend. She said that Adrian Paul was bald in real life. I said not but have wondered about it for years.
Who is right?
By the way, the D in my “handle” was to stand for "Duncan” to honor the show but as my name also starts with D it works either way. Highlander, Star Trek (all of them) and Babylon 5 are also in my name.

Oh goody! I've been wondering about that name for awhile. Never though of Bab 5 which is oneof my all time faves too. And I loved Highlander. Watched but didn't really get into The Raven.
And where IS Adrian Paul, I want to know. I thought he would have a full career ahead after Highlander but have not heard of him since, other than the hybrid Hylander movie.

Posted: 7/19/03 at 4:35pmAdrian's hairline has receded a bit & I am told he uses some"assistance" but he is NOT bald! He did a series up here called "Tracker" about an alien bountyhunter kinda guy but it did not run past one season. For a guy as buff as he is he's very bright & very nice! Hmmm if you like those show's I'm presently working on "Mutant X" A kinda version(with LOTS of exceptions) of the Xmen comic. Cast are great and its a fun show too! Updated On: 7/19/03 at 04:35 PM

Ohhh Sabrelady, I know all about "Tracker" and "Mutant X". I am a very BIG sci fi/fantasy fan from way back. There is very little "normal" tv that I watch. Give me an immortal, a mutant, a vampire, a space station, etc, etc any day of the week!
I do have to chuckle at myself about my handle--you know the whole time the DOTV thing was going on over at Broadway.com, I never gave it a thought but I bet they thought DoFB5 had something to do with DOTV.
I also have a chuckle for you, Sabrelady. When "Highlander" went to cable, it was on about a half hour before I got home from work. I would come in and Mom would have it on. I told her she didn't have to put it on for me--it was half over and I knew all the stories. Her reply? "What you? I like THAT guy with the long hair!". Understand that my Mom was in her late 60's early 70's at the time. I just about died laughing.
She's like me--she can't remember names, etc. G'kar on Babylon 5 is "That lizard guy", Londo is "the guy with the wild hair" but you know who she's talking about.
Sunfish--you do know they are releasing B5 to DVD? I'm waiting for the price to come down a bit but I will get all 5 seasons. You have to know I LOVED Marcus. Who did you like?

Calling all Trekies. Calling all Trekies. Time for a new musical on Star Trek. Everyone knows it is only a matter of time! Starring the one, the only Patrick Stewart with supporting cast of Jon Frakes, Brent Spinner, and Michael Dorn!
Wouldn't that be something to see.

Based on a couple of snippets of song he did in TNG, I don't think Patrick sings all that well, but if he just stood around and TALKED, it would be worth listening to

Well, I do know that Patrick Stewart did do a one man show of "A Christmas Carol" a few years back. I heard it was very good.
So Mr. T--did you ever go and see Tanz in Germany? If you did, how was it? Did you like it?

Posted: 7/22/03 at 10:52pmNo D, I didn't get to see Tanz as I planned. I ended up in North Carolina for a while and didn't get to plan my Europe trip. I am planning a trip across the pond, however, for the fall. Hoping to see CCBB, Blood Brothers, and Anything Goes.
