Litzsinger and Reinders bring TastiSkank to George Street! This Friday!

Actors from two of Broadway’s most wholesome shows – Beauty and the Beast and Wicked – have united to form “Tastiskank,” a musical comedy duo with a decidedly risqué edge. Noted for songs like “I Heart Dirty Boys” and “We Don’t Do Threesomes,” Sarah Litzsinger – Broadway’s longest-running Belle in Beauty and the Beast , and Kate Reinders – Glinda the Good in Wicked – will perform late night at George Street Playhouse in a special adults-only performance on Friday, April 20 at 11pm. Litzsinger does double duty, as she is also playing Cordelia the Kosher caterer in William Finn’s Falsettos onstage at George Street April 10 – May 6.



The duo won the Breakout Award at the recent HBO Comedy Festival held in Aspen, Colorado earlier this year. The high-energy, infectious – and sometimes raunchy – songs have proven to be popular with the late night comedy crowd, and have earned the duo legions of devoted fans throughout the tri-state area.

Freckles, go see George Street's production of FALSETTOS. It plays for about a month and a half. I was there for the first preview on Tuesday, and while it's not the best production in the world, it's worth seeing.
