So I'm home sick, eating garlic toast and chicksn matzoh ball soup. I should be studying but I was watching SNL, suffering thru for Weekend Update. Tina Fey did not let me down.

She read a blurb about David Gest saying Liza had hidden a medical condition from him. She concluded by saying something along the lines of:

"Sorry Daivd, a vagina is not a medical condition."

I laughed so hard I spilled my soup.

Tina Fey- she should be writing for Broadway!

Mmmmmmm, garlic toast. Tina Fey is fantastic. I was at a gala she hosted last summer and she is damn funny in person too.

I liked the Puerto Rican back up dancer joke and the Michael Jackson Penthouse letter, especially the way Tina mugged for the camera.

Tina met her husband while working at Second City in Chicago. I saw a show he directed called Hamlet! The Musical! and it was one of the most joyous little evenings of theater I've had in the past ten years. Maybe they'll bring it to New York.

Jennifer Aniston did quite well on the show. The Country Rose sketch was great.

I must admit, I hardly watch SNL anymore and find most of the skits awful when I do. But that Tina is a bright spot. I nearly always laugh out loud during her portions of Weekend Update. Jimmy leaves me cold, though.
