Some theatres have different names for the various Circles though so it's always bets to check the seating chart. Check out http://www.theatremonkey.com/. It's a great resource for all West End theatres."
Thanks!
So in general, If I'm correct
- Dress Circle is what is referred to as "Front Mezz" (or less commonly Loge) around here, (basically the front section of the first balcony, usually in front of a transverse aisle.
- Upper Circle is basically "Rear Mezz" (the space behind the transverse aisle)
- Balcony is most commonly the second balcony
I'll check out theatremonkey! I've been trying for a month to join theatreforum and keep getting timeouts on their side so I can't post or read discussions. (I've tried different browsers, devices, internet providers and hard-coded DNS - still times out on a proxy server of some sort on their side)
