We go Friday to see the show in London but I hear the audiences are going mad at Avenue Q... people say they are rather boisterous with almost a pantomime response to the material.
I really enjoyed the show on Broadway with the OBC but I doubted it would work here with a UK cast and audience. However there is an amazing buzz about the show in London, been ages since I heard so much positive feedback from so many people on a show that has only had a small handfull of previews so far.
I was at the second preview on Friday evening and can back that up - I've never heard an audience so up for a good time at a show, frequently interupting the songs with applause. I hope it's success will continue!
I saw like 4 shows last wk in Ldn and the audiences in the WE last wk were WILD may I say!!!!!! I am so glad that the British audiences are so enjoying their shows!!!!!!

Glad to hear the reports. After the show bombed in Vegas (probably kharmic return after the Tony debacle) its nice to hear the show has found new success.
