London Les Mis move is finally confirmed

Les Miserables finishes at the now rather rundown Palace Theatre on 27th March and opens shortly later at the much smaller Queens Theatre..

This gives them a good 5 or 6 months to sort the Palace Theatre out, The Woman in White is expected to start previews in September 2004.

It looks like perhaps a deal was done between Cameron and Andrew Lloyd Webber... Les Mis moves to make way for Woman in White and LW gives the lease of the Queens back to Cameron two years early faciliatating the building of the new complex that will include the Queens, Gielgud and brand new Sondheim Theatres.
