Damn, anyone get to see this? A friend of mine kept telling me to go experience it, but I never did.

Posted: 6/25/04 at 9:31amOh how sad! It's an amazing show. I saw it in London and Jarico and I are going to see it in NYC. It's one of my all-time favorite theatre experiences. If you haven't seen it, go before it's too late!

Posted: 6/25/04 at 2:41pmI went with a friend for her birthday, and didn't really enjoy it. It wasn't my type of show. You stood, got rained on, watched some people make noises and climp up some walls attached to bungi cords, and sing random vowels and consonants put together. It was interesting, but not my type of theater.

Posted: 6/25/04 at 4:25pmBillyLawler - thats EXACTLY why I never went to see it - it just doesn't sound appealing whatsoever...of course I hated Blue Man Group also - I think performance art in general is just not my cup of tea.

Posted: 6/25/04 at 4:49pmTHIS SHOW WAS AMAZING! I can understand why people would not wanna go see it because it is really hard to categorize what the show actually is. I didnt have much desire to see besides the fact that I was just plain curious. But I have never had sooo much fun!!! Anyone who hasnt seen it, go now!!!!!

Posted: 6/25/04 at 4:50pmI also really want/ed to see this - it came to London for a short while but I never went unfortunately. I recently studied Antonin Artaud and a lot of his ideas links with De La Guarda.

Posted: 6/25/04 at 11:53pmI finally honored the HYPE and went to see it recently and afterwards I walked out going "THAT WAS IT?!" I was expecting more of a Cirque show than the randominess of this show. The only really cool part is the opening (which if you've seen the show you know what I'm referring to). Otherwise, I was quite bored. I can go to the playground and see people swing on ropes back and forth. There wasn't anything amazing that blew me away.
