I have never been to the Longacre Theatre. I am planning on buying tickets for Allegiance.
I can get seats on the aisle in the second row on the left or right side of the orchestra. Is the stage too high up this close at the Longacre Theatre or is it at a good height?
Would I be better off with seats on the aisle in the 10th row on the left or right side of the orchestra?
All opinions welcomed!
I've sat all over the orchestra, and can attest to the stage not being high at all at the Longacre. Enjoy!
Standardly, yes, the stage at the Longacre is not high. It's hard to say for this production because it has not started performances yet obviously. A production can make the stage as high or as low as they would like. That being said, from a second row side aisle it shouldn't block *too* much of your view. If you want to play it safe, I'd get 10th row. If you want to be closer and don't mind missing some shoes or feet, I'd go for second row.
Thanks so much for your responses. Great advice from you both and I really appreciate it!
