You're asking us?
Yes, I do sing. Baritone/bass/countertenor here.
I have never tried the olive oil trick, so I don't know.
I HAVE tried honey. Honey works. Perhaps it's psychosomatic, but I think it works.

Yes, I'm serious. Why? And why does my age matter?

Im a tenor and Im 16... Ummm... I've never tried that... Hmmm... If it works... let me know!

Oh, yes. My voice is all done changing. I can just sing/belt alto, mezzo-soprano and soprano, as well as sing baritone/bass. It comes in handy. And it's great at parties, too!
haha, theres no way im trying the Olive trick first!...If you guys try it tell me how it works!

My friend was in the Philadelphia Boys Chorus and he sang thru puberty and he can hit super high notes in faslestto... its very funny... yet kinda scary

He is probably a countertenor, like myself. Except I use a mix of head and chest voice, and then for the super high notes, I use only head voice.
anyone can hit high notes in falsetto...thats what its for.
Although, ive only recently started to train my falsetto so its kinda week at the momment. falsetto is like the male version of belting.
ya..also called head voice...
joshua488, whats your highest note? (chest)

No, if a man is singing in his falsetto, he cannot "belt" those notes. Falsetto is very airy. Otherwise, he is probably using a mix of chest and head voice.
why isn't edna in the clip? i've noted that with the exception of seacrest and the tony's i've never seen an enda in a televised version of that number. (can't recall the thanksgiving day performance tho)
i dont mean like screaming belting...ummm..how can i explain...did you watch the Academy awards? I think it was Beyonce who sang, well everytime she twitched she'd be "belting"...argh, this is hard to explain. im just gonna give up on this one...
oh, and might i add...Beyonce was horrible at the Academy Awards!
and if you train your falsetto it wont be all that airy

I didnt see Beyonce on The Academy Awards... Ummm I like to belt cause being a tenor its kinda easy you can go high but i envy you joshua you're a countenor n bass so you can go high and low... ugh.. I wish I could... Joshua, ur awesome!
i think it was beyonce...not sure though... the black girl who sang everysong. One was in french, one was with josh groban and she sang the song from Phantom of the Opera, the one that Emmy Rossum presented i believe. (check your PM's)
