Does anyone know if there is a lottery for Dame Edna?
Highly doubtful. I don't think it's going to be very popular!
You don't? Have you seen the Royal Tour?
That show was hysterical.

Based on......?
Four years ago, The Royal Tour broke box office records for a solo show, ran 300 performances and received a special Tony. The advance sale for the current show is already approaching $2 million and it doesn't officially open for another two weeks and the marketing campaign is just now getting underway.
For what reason do you think that this show will not be popular?

Margo, you took the words out of my mouth--minus all the statistics.

I guess the gal is silent.
LOL the Ga is working.
I dunno, it seems that a lot of the shows that do a lottery these days have heavy youth interest. I haven't heard any of the younger crowd talking about this show.
I want to see the Possum tonight.
Sigh.
Oh and GA, us older people see most of the theater sweetheart.
Where is my cane?

You may be right reagrding the show's youth appeal -- I think most of Dame Edna's audience is over 30, but I'm not sure. Nevertheless, the last show was a very hot ticket for months, so with or without younger audiences, this show promises to be a solid hit.
With no discounts. Margo, do you know if Dame will have a lottery. For some of the poor possums out there.
I went to the Royal Tour three glorious times.
I LOVE DAME EDNA.
Love you, Beav!

Oh honey, there are tons of discounts -- I've gotten flyers in the mail as well as emails for $65 tix. Look over at Broadwaybox.com and you should see at least one or two.
I'm seeing her tonight with joeyjoe - I'll report back on her fabulousness on Monday!
I hope you have fun.
I am soooooooooo jealous of you and Joey Joe.

I was just at the box office and was told there would be standing room, but no rush and no lottery.
