Wow...
Too bad my bdays in June...
Whoever wins will be wicked lucky.
All the lights are misty in the river
In the darkness, the trees are full of starlight
And all I see is him and me forever and forever."

I hope for his sake that the winner is... you know, sane.
Aww, the answering machine thing is cute.

Wow, I am so tempted to bid on some of those! Would love lunch with Anthony, but that is a little out of my price range.
The thing with Kristin on your answering machine made me laugh. That's cute!

Posted: 8/28/06 at 1:57pmYeah, I was wondering why there was a shipping fee on many of the things as well. They are no small shipping fees either! They ranged from $25 to $75.

The fee is for background checks... $25 each for you and the extra guest! I would hate to sign Anthony up with a couple crazies!!!! That goes for the other items as well... anytime someone wins the chance to get up close and personal with celebrities, it is best to take a precaution and do the checks.

Lol, that's funny!
Background checks are a very good idea.
Olivetone, I take it you are involved in this auction? There are some amazing packages! And in ref. to your question I don't know what I would pay for lunch with Anthony. I did PM you back and again, I'm not saying lunch with Anthony isn't well worth it, I was just curious since no one had bid yet.

Posted: 8/28/06 at 2:36pmYes, I am involved... I secured a lot of these lots along with the executive director and I want to get the word out to as many people as possible that the opportunities are there! I know they are a lot of money, but the work done by Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS is some of the most critical initiatives around in the ongoing battle with HIV.

Posted: 8/28/06 at 8:32pmHm my birthday is in 17 days.. 2 days before the bidding closes.. I wonder how much begging it would do to get my parents to go bid on that for me. Haha

#21re: Lunch with Anthony Rapp
Posted: 8/28/06 at 9:53pmLol, I thought the Kristin thing was kind of cute! Except of course that no one outside the broadway community would know who was on your machine.

Posted: 8/29/06 at 1:04amOh, if I had money! And Anthony offered to wait with my until my ride came at a reading I went to! Too bad I was honest, and said I would be ok! Good luck, and tell whoever wins to give a report back here!

Posted: 8/29/06 at 1:07amThey had BC/EFA auctions at Spamalot for Hank Azaria to do your voicemail in one of his Simpsons' voices. Of course, those are more recognizable than Kristin's, unless you're a 14 year old girl.
