M/F Duet NOT romantic
M/F Duet NOT romantic#0

I'm looking for a duet for a male and a female. Both in high school, not romantic at all (I'm singing with my brother).
More information:
Boy is a Bass II
Girl is an Alto II
Preferably something more well-known
Can have a chorus in the background if necessary (e.g. Seasons of Love)
Thanks for all of your help!

Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better from Annie Get Your Gun (i dont think this would be classified as 'romantic' out of context)

"we have therapy tomorrow - it's too late to screw"
that line could be altered from Tick Tick BOOM!

There were a bunch of good duets written for Ethel Merman that are not necessarily romantic. In addition to the ones mentioned above:
You're the Top (Porter)
You're not Sick, You're Just in Love (Berlin)
It's Delovely (Porter)
Old Fashioned Wedding (Berlin)
You'll Never Get Away From Me (Styne/Sondheim)
Mutual Admiration Society (Dubey/Carr) not technically a M-F duet, but it could work

Thats pretty romantic, at least in the 2003 revival version. Peters lays it on heavy!

Anything You Can Do is probably a perfect choice for you guys.
ETA: Bass II? Ok, maybe not perfect... Frank's notes aren't too too high. I'm not sure of Annie's, though

We did Annie Get Your Gun at my high school as a musical rather recently, so I wouldn't really want to do a song from that musical. It would be cute idea, had we have no done it so recently.
Thanks!

Posted: 12/18/05 at 2:44amIt isn't from a show but how about a good old fashioned "Unforgetabble?" If a father and daughter could do it, a brother and sister can, and it's low enough.

Are there piano/voice selections for all of these mentioned?
I'll look into all of your suggestions, thanks!
