Riedel's back!
This was very distasteful of him to write. He got the facts right, but this is a much touchier medical issue than he lets on.
why is that, bree? was twyla looking out for their health concerns here? please elaborate.
I'd rather not simply because it's stooping to his level. I don't think people like Elizabeth Parkinson should have to deal with such public information.
now how do you know that she hasn't already told all of her friends? do you know for sure that this was not public knowledge before riedel printed it? and who are "people like elizabeth parkinson"? have they by the very nature of their existence on broadway somehow earned a new privacy staus currently unafforded to the rest of society? geez, he says she's the best dancer on broadway. that's tough to take, huh?

Well if you know that "this is a much touchier medical issue than he lets on", then surely other people do too, no?
This article is hardly damaging to anyone but Twyla, and even so, her reputation precedes her and this "incident."
He's paid to be a gossip columnist, not a journalist. And while I don't agree with much of what he writes, that's his job, just like Liz Smith, Page 6 and Paul Wontreks column.
Bree, could you have Paul explain to you what you're talking about so your posts will make some semblance of sense to the rest of us? Or are you just trying to make sure we all know you might 'know something' from the inside? Updated On: 3/31/04 at 11:39 AM
