Watching Ryan Seacrest Show...On Air or something of that nature. MAMMA MIA is performing soon...
Is this the new Las Vegas cast? (Did LV even happen, or was this old rumour).

Posted: 4/29/04 at 5:48pmWhat you saw on "on-air" today was Mamma mia Tour 1... well parts of them. the lady who plays rosie was out and ther is a new donna in as well. also it seemed that is was a reduced cast size to fit the studio space. tour 1 is currently playing at the pantages theatre in LA. LV did happen. I have not yet seen them but i hear they are equally as good as other tours and broadway. Tina Walsh whom i have herd is AMAZING is playing Donna for the 2nd year. Las Vegas did replace many of it's cast members recently. I haven't seen the replacements, but I've heard good things about them.
And I do just have to echo that Tina Walsh is AMAZING!!!
Her "Winner Takes it All" alone is worth the price of admission. How she renders so much honest emotion night after night is baffling to me. It was so exciting to see her in a role she could really sink her teeth into after her brilliant but rather short appearences in EFX.
I'll have to catch them later when Seacrest airs here.

the new cast is GREAT!! i miss the originals but the replacements really put some new freshness to the show. They really work hard and put 100% into every show!!
I will agree with Tina's "winner" ... i always get tears during Slipping and Winner ... she has such power in her voice!
Its no wonder i have seen the vegas cast over 100 times alone ... they are just simply phenominal!
