As some of you here know, I'm the Artistic Director of a theater collective that produces theater for a cause. We're about to enter our SECOND season (can we get a "Heck, yeah!" for that?) and are having a grand ol' benefit for it this Sunday night!

We match the themes of our play selections (3 classics, 1 American classics, 1 musical and 1 re-envisioning of a children's classic a season) to a charity whose mission matches the tone. We've worked with BC/EFA, A-STEP, GMHC, The Fortune Society, Prison Families Anonymous, The USO and more!

Our new season includes a new English translation of the original French play, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, a production of ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA and most excitingly?...

...Something you'll all love... A DOLL'S HOUSE running in rep with the New York return of A DOLL'S LIFE!

If you're looking for a fun night out of great music and talent, stop by. If you tell them you're from BroadwayWorld, tickets are only $10 instead of $25.

Performing will be Ashley Kate Adams (La Cage, Gay Bride of Frankenstein), Denis Lambert (A Chorus Line, Yank!) Miguel Jarquin-Moreland (nat'l tour of RENT), Billy Butler (Gay Bride of Frankenstein) and lots of other fabulous folk. Like me... who may be proposing a toast with a vodka stinger.

I had *all* the names wrong- I totally thought this was for MCC's Miscast gala, w/ Kerry Butler, Nick Adams, Adam Lambert...

I know, Billy, I know. In my opinion, you can rock out a hell-of-a-lot harder than Kerry Butler ANY time.

And Denis can out-sing Adam Lambert any day that ends in Y.

But this is one tough crowd...

Hope some of you actually COME to the show!
