MOVING OUT TOUR#1

So, yeah!!! I finally got to see Moving Out on tour at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady last night.I was incredibly bummed when it closed on bway before I saw it.
So, my synopsis is that overall it was a great show. I really, really enjoyed it. My favorites scenes were Big Shot, and "She's Got a Way", the passion and the choreography between Brenda and Tony was amazing they actually had real chemistry and danced together way better than their solos. Especially during SGAW, we were sitting house right and eyeline of him infront and her to the back and left a little was phenomenal, especially carrying the emotion to each other with out touching.
My problems were that I wasn't really feeling the no talking. I get the "artsy" point and story that they were going for but it really wasn't done properly, compared to the stories in Contact, but then again the last story does have talking. Also Twyla Tharp's choreography wasn't that amazing, I could've done just about anything the guys did in that show and I've never taken one dance class in my life. Last but not least, I hated Eddie I don't think he needs to be in the show at all. The dancer playing him was good, hes just a whack character and I didn't feel for him at all.
One more thing Twyla needs to learn to choreograph anger and sadness better, because all they did was flail their arms around in the air like morons having a seizure. Twyla should check out some So You Think You Can Dance routines because Mia Michaels and Wade Robson are killing her.
