Yes Mr Sills, Frankly my Dear I give a damn!
Moonlight and Magnolias, playing at Stage 1 is worth freezing your ass off for.
Douglas Sills plays Selznick with such passion and vigor.
I loved the play but it was Sills and Margo Skinner who make this play worthwhile.
Yes Mr Selznick we have a winner!
But please put on the heat. I nearly turned into an eskimo.

Agreed, MTC seems to be on a much needed upswing and this show was such a delight. Douglas should be thanking his lucky stars he did this insetad of SPAMALOT, Margo is great, but David Rache is pure genuis in this piece. I'd highly recomend seeing MOONLIGHT & MAGNOLIAS!
I loved it. But MTC really need heat in stage one. Did you go last night. I was so cold i had to wear my coat.
But the cast were marvelous. Especially Sills! He was hilarious as Miss Scarlet!
Cute show.
It sounds like it may have improved. I saw the show at the Goodman in Chicago and was mostly bored. The jokes would occasionally draw a slight smile, but that was about it. And it never created enough believable tension for me to forget that the screenplay was finished and filmed and a huge success. I just wasn't drawn into the show. Perhaps it plays better in a smaller house.
