In addition to TO BE OR NOT TO BE, the Manhattan Theatre Club's new season will include:
at the Biltmore:
the Broadway premiere of Richard Greenberg's THE AMERICAN PLAN, directed by David Grindley.
previews Jan 2, 2009, opening Jan 22, 2009
at City Center Stage I:
ROMANTIC POETRY by John Patrick Shanley (book and lyrics) and Henry Krieger (music), directed by Shanley. Previews begin Oct. 1, opening is Oct. 28.
RUINED by Lynn Nottage, directed by Kate Whoriskey. Previews begin Jan. 21, 2009, opening Feb. 10, 2009, in a co-production with the Goodman Theatre.

For the record, I was at an engagement of Nottage's last week, where she read a few scenes from RUINED, about Mama Nadi, the owner of a prostitution ring (that's the best way I can describe it) and her workers, in the Congo. The few scenes I heard were just mind-blowing.
