Have just been into town to see the new production and i have to say that it blew me away! If you havnt been to see it GO NOW! i missed the whole sweney todd thing when it was on over here but this is the same director and im now gutted i missed it, the cast are just fantastic every single one of them! All so talented! Janie Dee as Mabel was by far one of the best leading ladys i have seen for a long time! basicaly if youv not guessed i loved it and recomend it to anybody!go go go

I will add, taht I love this show, and def. think it's worth seeing, but Janie Dee is def. lacking in the vocal department. She has the most obvious switch from chest to head voice I have ever heard. this is especially disappointing when you think about a woman like Bernadette singing the role.

but yes. Go see it.
