Always lip-synched. When they sing on parade floats, it is live singing. Why not the Broadway performances?
This very thread was started last week. Ah well, its posted again.

Posted: 10/1/04 at 8:53amLSOH didnt lip-synch last year. At least I dont think, because if they were, they were doing a REALLY good job :)

Posted: 10/1/04 at 3:25pmThey definitely lip synched Little Shop last year. Kerry did a good job, but Hunter messed up his timing and he broke character and reacted to it. Bad..bad

"When they sing on parade floats, it is live singing..."
No, I'm sure they lip-synched on the floats. I remember seeing some lip-synched.

Posted: 10/1/04 at 9:52pmWhen I was 7 I thought the Macy's Day Parade and the Thanksgiving Day Parade were two different things. My parents never let me live it down.

Posted: 10/2/04 at 5:55amI noticed that they lip-synched when Kristin Chenoweth messed up on "One Short Day" thats when I first knew they weren't singing.

Posted: 10/2/04 at 12:27pmthe big clue for me was that no one had a mic on except the boy from oz kid

Posted: 10/2/04 at 1:42pmI performed in the parade last year- EVERYTHING is lipsync... BFO was not live last year... I saw them rehearsing (their on-site rehearsal was right before ours) and it was recorded...
