So I got 2 tickets for phantom of the opera and they are rear mezz row a seat 102. I was wondering if anyone knows if these are good seats? As in will I be able to see their faces or should I upgrade to front mezz?
You should be okay since you are in the front row of the rear mezzanine!
If I did decide to upgrade what would you say would be a better view right front mezz seat 2&4 or center front mezz row e? So sorry for all the questions I’m a first timer !:)
What seat of Row E?
Also is there a price difference?
regarding seeing faces, front mezz is better to be honest. But either way your view will be fine because the balcony is very steep. If you are anywhere past the middle of the rear mezz, then it is hard to read faces.
I’m front row of rear mezz row a seat 106. I just want to make sure it’s not going to be watching little ants lol. I’ve never been to a show there or anywhere so I’m new to all of this but thank you for your response !
You should still be able to see faces from row A of the rear mezz.
Would you say it’s worth it to pay the extra 100 or so and get front mezz tickets?

$100 more? Absolutely not. Those rear mezzanine seats are great, because there's no one sitting directly in front of of you. Did you use a discount to buy your tickets? If you're going before 2/24, there's a discount available on Telecharge Offers which has front mezzanine seats for $69-$99, so, if you want to upgrade, you shouldn't have to spend much more. Just call Telecharge at 212 239-6210, and ask them if you can upgrade using the Telecharge Offers dicount. Before you call them, though, check out what seats are available on telechargeoffers.com using the discount, so you can just tell them which seat numbers you'd like instead. I've done this a few times, and they've never given me a problem. If you'd like to give me the date you're going, I'd be happy to research ticket availability for you.
Oh wow I didn’t know that I’ll have to call today and see if I can do that. Thank you so much because I’m completely clueless to all of this ??
I’ve just been reading some very different reviews about rear mezz and want to get the best experience possible.
I’m also going to the 8:00 show Feb 17th. The only problem is my step father actually purchased the tickets for me for Christmas so I’d have to get him to do this I believe.
Darn, the discount isn't available for Saturday nights. Sorry, I didn't realize that.
If you can switch to the matinee, though, there are some great choices in the front mezzanine for $99. Right front mezzanine row A 14-16 and row B 2-4, or center front mezzanine row D 103-104, 104-105, and 110-111.
Updated On: 12/29/17 at 11:00 AMIt’s okay ! I found a seat in front mezz right row c seat 2 but it’s an extra 46. Would you say that’s worth it? I’m sorry for all the questions!
That’s actually a really good idea. I didn’t even think about switching the times. I’ll have to call today and see what they can do for me. Thank you so much for your input :)
Personally, I wouldn't spend that much more, but that's just me. If it's a special occasion for you, and you don't mind spending more, go for it. I found a pic of the view from C 2:

Ok, cool, I'm glad that might be an option for you. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Hey! So I was just looking on the website and decided to bug you again, hahaha. You said before you saw the matinee seats for 99. I was wondering if you were looking at telecharge because I’m seeing $146
Go to telechargeoffers.com, and Phantom is listed on the home page, with the other shows that offer discounts. Click on it, and it’ll take you to the “Offer Overview.” Click on the “Find Tickets” tab, and you’ll be able to search from there.
