Make me a song cheap original cast recording

I am really looking forward to getting this cd from Ghostlight/Razor and tie anyone know when the Label is going to ship them how much it is going to be sold for ? I remember before I bought High fidelity I had a discount emailed from I think it was playbill.com giving 10% off just wondered if anyone had a code for this release. Thanks in advance

Make Me a Song is going to be released on April 29th. Check the Sh-K-Site for preorders (you can usually get it sooner than the release date if you preorder).

Also, the list price is $24.98 (Double CD) but we will most likely be selling it for less.

Okay.. pls correct me if I am not understanding this right?

The CD is a double CD and its $ 24.98?! but will sell for less? how less $9.99?-now that's what I think its less....

Ive seen the show and how it could be a double CD...I guess my memory is not serving me right anymore. I dont think there's a lot of songs. Why is it $24.98? kinda expensive for a CD? considering there's only a piano accompanying the 4 actors.

Dont get me wrong I LOVE the show soo much and I am a big fan of Boston-native William Finn...

that's the standard list price for most double cds j*.
Some are much more. (Dessa Rose was close to 30 I think).

It includes the track list. The first CD has 20 tracks and is 59.3 minutes long... the second has 10 tracks and is 32.7 minutes long.

Sorry Jay, but there was really just too much music to fit onto a single!

It makes sense bec. the show is 90 minutes, so more or less its the whole show!
59.3 + 32.70 = 92 minutes.

If we order it online, do we get it before the release date?

The one cast recording I have always wanted more than anything else is Romance In Hard Times.

We always get That's Enough For Me and All Fall Down, but there are so many incredible songs in that score.
Especially the title song (which I think called You Can't Let Romance Die actually).

Anyhoo, it's always a cause for celebration when we get a collection of Finn songs.

I watched the show last November and paid in cash to pre-order the CD after the show. I have never received any updates on my e-mail about the status of the CD.
