I love the typo in the article.
"The rumored Mariah Carey musical would feature VIRAL events from the diva’s life"
I honestly don't know about this. Isn't this what biopics are for? I think that would be a better medium for this project. I mean, Carey's a lengendary diva, but she's kinda the new girl on the block when you put her up against the other divas who's life stories would be a bigger draw. B'way is a bigger finacial risk than film. What were the last musicalized life stories of other pop icons? Boy from Oz (which I'm sure wouldn't have been half as sucessful w/o Jackman) and Taboo? Nuff said.
I wonder if the day she crashed TRL will be turned into a musical number?
So, who does everyone think is in the running for the lead?
[waits for the inevitable Cheno nomination]
You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl
"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor
"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl
"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott
