Very odd occurence today - as I'm walking to the DRS lottery around 5:30 today, we pass a HUGE crowd of paparazzi, with black limousines and a police escort, security guards... at first I thought it was Julia Roberts' leaving Three Days of Rain, but I realized that these 400 people were at the Minskoff.

All of the sudden the crowd starts SCREAMING, and Mariah Carey walks out of the theater and into her limo amongst tons of camera flashes and screaming fans... I thought it was pretty strange.

Anyone know any reason why she'd be there, or at least see it too?

TRL films right around the corner, and the stars come out right next to the Minskoff.

Ah, that'd explain it, thanks. It was such a mob scene, complete pandemonium.
