Does anyone know where I can find photos of Broadway marquees for different shows from around 1990 to present day...I'm working on a rather strange project. I know Playbill.com has a "Marquee Value" feature, but it only goes from the tail end of the 2003-2004 Season on (Starting with shows like 'Prymate' and 'The Frogs')

Caroline-Q-or-TBoo,

DUH! She said that in her original post, she repeated herself, and BwayTheatre11 repeated it!! Is English your first language?

I have Peter Pan from 1997. I think I may also have 42nd Street, Lion King, Wicked, etc.

PM me.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
