Posted: 12/28/05 at 11:42pmIt's on 45th street, across from the Minskoff. You see the pillars advertisng the show, and the Stage door is half-hidden behind a pillar.

Someone's posted on ATC that "Michael has the bad cold that everyone in the cast seems to be catching".

Posted: 12/29/05 at 9:49amI'm seeing the show Friday night, and I really hope he gets back. I saw him in London and he was brilliant. Is Maria doing all the evening shows now, or is she not a guarentee for any performance? Does anyone know if Ball's understudy is any good?

This show is having some bad luck!! Off to a shaky start but knowing Michael and Maria as performers it won't stop them!!!!!
One report said Norman Large was good but obviously no Michael. Keep your ears open because it's Michael that you want to see!!!
Had Norman's last name wrong! I think it's right now????

It took me freaking FOREVER to find the stage door, but I found it just in time to get Adam Brazier's autograph.
Have fun, it's a great show!

Posted: 12/29/05 at 9:17pmIt's on 45th next to the Broadway store. It says "STAGE DOOR" in big white letters. ( That wasn't sarcastic, I discovered this while trying to escape the "OMG! Ryan Seacrest!" fangirls yesterday.)

Posted: 12/29/05 at 9:33pmWeds in Midtown WAS UNBEARABLE for those of us who are there daily. Not only was it a Mat. Day - but there seemed to be every high school/college student on Winter Break scurrying around midtown. I must not complain, because the tourists drive the business - but MY GOD was it CROWDED!

Agreed...it was completely insane yesterday. The congestion was unreal...FYI, I saw WIW last night and Maria did perform. It was a surprise to see her, as I really didn't expect her to be performing..I never get my hopes up! I was upset to miss out on Michael, however. It is a shame that he isn't feeling well. His understudy did do a good job, but the rat did not cooperate with him at all:) He did a good job covering for it, though!

If i wanted to send a fan letter should i address it to
1535 Broadway New York, NY 10036
or
211 W 45th St. 10036 ?
i wrote to millie at 1535 Bway and got a response but got nothing from la cage at that address.
I like to ask for signed playbills as I usually cant stay after (and send SASEs too!)
thanks!

Posted: 12/30/05 at 8:16pmThe theatre itself is on the third floor of the hotel. Go into the ground floor of the hotel and take the escalators there directly up to the third floor.
