Adolpho and the Chaperone
Janet and Robert
Underling and Tottendale
etc

Could he have been reading something very old? One of the show's producers got married onstage after the show/curtain call... back in '05, when it was out in L.A.

A long while ago someone got married at the Wedding Singer, but I highly doubt you'd be confusing that situation with the one you're asking about...
