While walking past the 700 Sundays marquis, a friend of mine mentioned that Martin Short was planning on bringing a one man show to broadway supposedly based on the christmas parties he hosts every year. Does anyone know any details about this? I loved him in Little Me and LA producers, so I think this show could be fantastic, thats if it really exists.

Yes, he is still doing his one man show. However, it was postponed until next fall.

It was originally scheduled for this season, but has been postponed to the fall of 2005.

And did we not hear (from the man himself) that Marc Shaiman is working on some material for the show?

If u like Martin Short he has a new film coming out Jimminy Glick in LaLaWood. It is his obese ignorant starf*cker of a media personality.interviewer. Mostly improvised w a lot of celebrity friends it is set @ the Toronto Film Fest.

I saw him about a month ago. He did a one-man show with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at the Meyerson.

He was hysterical in the first part of the show, and sang very, very well.
But he repeated a lot of the hunour (mainly the physical humor) again and again and again.

But he is really quite fantastic.
