Marty Thomas at the duplex this monday!

Hey everyone, I'm a recent fan of Marty Thomas after seeing him perform at XL a few weeks ago. I wanted to make sure you all knew about his show tomorrow night, here is the info that I stole from his website.

The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is continuing their celebrated BROADWAY DOWNTOWN series this Monday at 7pm with Wicked's Marty Thomas...

If you don't know, Marty is a Grammy-nominated recording artist and actor. His performance as Colin in Broadway’s The Secret Garden was praised by audiences and critics alike. While still performing in Garden, he was named the 1992 Junior Vocalist champion on Ed McMahon’s Star Search, beating out a then unknown Britney Spears.

The show Marty will debut at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is titled, Songs I’m Not Supposed to Sing, and is a collection of music by artists and from shows that typically would not be expected to be heard from an artist like Marty. It's a show about breaking stereotypes, testing barriers and challenging living freely. Marty will cover everything from Dreamgirls to Aretha. It's not a night to be missed.
