Mary Jo Catlett, where are you?

I saw that Dollypop thinks "Mary Jo Catlett rocks" and it got me to wondering about here whereabouts. She graduated from the same college I did and she was the big claim to fame from Loretto Heights College. We always heard that she got her first Broadway show by going into the audition, laying down on her stomach facing the auditioners and then singing "I Feel Pretty" completely deadpan. Anyone else ever hear that? What is she up to these days? Anyone else even know who she is?

Okay, I know Mary Jo originated the role of Ernestina Money in TWHM. She also replaced one of the leads in THE CANTERBURY TALES (w. Sandy Duncan). The last I saw of her was when she did a catfood commercial on TV. Still, she ROCKS!!!!!!

She is out here in Los Angeles and works alot. If you need to find her just call SAG out here and they will give you agent info. She is a real nice lady.

I know she was in the tour (and maybe did a stint on broadway) as Madame de la Grande Bouche (the dresser) in Beauty and the Beast, but that was a bit ago.
I LOVED her on Diff'rent Strokes!!!

Yeah - she's still around - funny as hell - the last I saw her was at the Plush Room here in SF - she was with Rita Moreno and her husband at Julie Wilson's opening...I've got her e-mail address, but she never reads her e-mail! Chris

I love that so many people know this lady!! I want her email even if she does not read it! I would love to ask her some questions since we wnt to the same college.

Mary Jo Catlett is alive and doing great in Los Angeles. She is one of the kindest, most talented, funny and humble ladies in show business. I absolutely love her. I've had the opportunity to work on a few benefits with her directed by well known LA theatre director David Galligan.
