Mary Louise Parker double Tony nominee?

Mary Louise might receive as much acclaim for How I Learned to Drive as she did for Sound Inside, Do Tony rules allow for one performer getting two nominations in the same category (I know they can in different categories and indeed have at times)?

Short answer though: yes, I believe it is allowed, but IIRC, it's never happened before for performers - although it happens quite frequently with designers.
