Mary Poppins Reviw-SPOILERS

Hi everyone,

I just recently saw mary poppins on the 28th of March. This was my second time seeing it, my fist time being in September (durring previews). Now this reviw will include a combo of both the show/actors(how they were in the show)/how they were in real life. To start off, the first time I saw the show was with Delaney and Henry as the children. The time I am speaking of now I saw Delaney and Matt.

On a good note the coreoraphy was amazing (sry for the spelling) so was the lighting and think how much they Stage manegers have to do. But most of you probably don't really care..........So on to the actors/actresses.

I will start with Mark Price and Jane Carr- they didn't really serve a purpose to the story however they were extreemly entertaining to watch!
Next there was Cass Morgan who played the bird woman, another pointless part, yet entertaining once again, she has a beautiful voice and is soothing to listen to.
Daniel Jenkins (MR. Banks)- did not have the greatest part however was hilarious when he tells his boss how he fells......SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS!!!!!
Rebecca Luker(Mrs. Banks)- I was expecting alot more from her, however she had a beautiful voice in her few songs.
Delaney Moro (Jane)- Was great both times I saw her, doesn't have the greatest voice, but has great acting skills.
Mathew Gumley (michael)- was cute, good actor, but mostly
cute.....
Henry Hodges (michael)- I love him, he is just soo amzing!
Gavin Lee(Bert)-If he doesn't win a tony than something must be wrong with this world. He was 100% Bert. I <3 him!
now for the bad part of the show's performers; Ashley Brown(Mary aka Scary Mary) really has so much talent and potencial, but this is not the part for her. She has scary eyes, is not mary, and just is creapy and akward on stage. She was amazing in Beauty and the beast and I am wondering if this is the same Ashley! I know that mary is supposed to be strict, and mean, but she had no love, even when she was supposed to.

I have to say that my favorite number would have to be Supercal... because it is so cleverly done. Actually one song for me personally toped thatsong was Brimstone and Tregal, I just love Ruth Gottschall and that is why I didn't put her ^there becuase you can just say that she is amazing. Anyway I did not like temper temper and i wish it were cut. I also liked lets go fly a kite, chim chim chree. And just to let you know, don't look up when Mary flys, I know people do, and I'm sure Ashley doesn't apreciate it (even though she has like 3 million layers on)

*IN REAL LIFE*
So at the stage door I met Ashley, Gavin, Cass, Jane, and Delaney. I also saw Rebecca, but couldn't get to her.
The nicest by far was Cass, with Gavin coming in a close second, and Jane in third. I know Delaney so I didn't really speak with her, but she is really nice and if you take your kid to meet her (in the next to performances) you won't regret it. Scary Mary however continued to be scary at the stagedoor. I don't know if she waws in a bad mood because i know she was sick that week, but she scared my friend's cousin and he was almost crying. So might I recomend seeing her, but don't stay for long if she is in a bad mood, "cause that was scaaary.
