When am I able to buy cancellation tickets for Mary Poppins? Do they go on sale when the box office opens? Also, do they only sell the top price seats or are there all price levels available? Thanks for the help

Checked ticketmaster...definatley sold out for quite some time. It is the third best selling show on broadway. Not sure why you would think it wouldnt be sold out.

The best time to get in line for cancellation is 4:30 - 5:00 in the afternoon. If you're prepared to wait right up until show time, you should most definitely get seats. I got in line at 4:30, got tickets at 7:40 - fourth row, center.

Several behind me also got tickets as well. This was a couple of months ago, however.

Mary Poppins always say how they have best availability during the week.

Weekends probably sell out faster because, well, they're weekends.

Being a devout theatre buff and avid member of the theatre community, I never thought I'd be forced to inquire about ticket availability for a particular show. However, I have a friend visiting who is stubbornly determined to see Mary Poppins. The show performance would be Saturday June 2nd at the matinee, which of course sold out weeks ago on Ticketmaster. Though I'd much prefer to see Curtains with her, I thought I'd do my best to humor her. All my resources, however, are depleted at this point in guaranteeing tickets. Is cancellation line my only option now?

...And so, there I was at the stage door for "Equus". The enthused avalanche of "Harry Potter" fans was literally pushing me into the barricades. As I was thrust face-first into Daniel Radcliffe's hat, I suddenly felt the thumb of a lanky gentleman behind me pressing firmly into my back. It was then that I realized that both of his hands had Playbills, and that both arms were outstretched in front of me...

Standing room is available on sold out days. Assuming you live in NY, you should try visiting the theatre every so often over the next month to ask if anything becomes available (because they may release something, you never know).

How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...
