Mary Poppins in London December 2004

There is an announcement about the show at this site:

Looks like it opens in Bristol first in September then has a London opening in December. No word on the cast or if/when it will go to Broadway

Years ago they were trying to do this with Emma Thompson. Wonder if they are still considering her.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Last I heard it was Joanna Riding, but no mention of who would play Bert. On another page someone, I hope, mentioned Keanu Reeve as Bert. I certainly hope not

Raul Esparza should be Bert! He can dance wonderfully and could definetly pull that part off. Melissa Errico should be Mary Poppins.

I have to second Melissa Errico for Mary Poppins. She's fabulous. I'm not sure about Raul Esparza as Bert though (love him...but as Bert...not so much.)
