Mary Poppins rush

Has anyone done it? Generally, are there a lot of tickets available? Where are the seats located?

I haven't done it but I don't think a lot of people know about it. I know you can buy them in advance, though, at least that's what someone at the box office told me.

tickets are $25 each with a limit 2 (i think) and are available for tues-thurs, and sun evening shows. a couple months ago, i was told by the BO tickets were in sides of the Dress Circle, but since MP has been on HotTix quite a bit now, they might just sell whatever's left? i'm not sure, let us know if you try!

I rushed for the Sunday, June 7th evening performance. I got there at about 10:50 (10 min before the box office officially opened), and was 2nd in line. I got 2 tix in the dress circle that were supposedly "limited view" but I thought they were fantastic seats--I didn't miss one thing in the entire show. It was a great surprise. Good luck!

I rushed today (got them in advance actually), and they were great seats! Dress Circle Row EE, seat 5, great for $25. The show was awesome, but I just wanted to let everyone know Ashley will be out for the last week of the run. I met her at the SD and she says she's taking a week-long vacation before starting again. The actors were also all packing up their stuff and clearing out the theater already...so sad!

yea, BO guy said you could buy them in advance.

on another note, i had no idea Fiddler wasn't rushing their last week. a bit disappointed, but Poppins was an awesome (even better) alternate.

Saw the show last night (Saturday night) and it was amazing. I was sad that Ashley would be out. But we saw Elizabeth Broadhurst and she was incredible. I don't think she's done the role many times, and you would have never known. She was an excellent actress with a great voice. And she looked just like Julie Andrews...it was crazy!

Also, we saw Aida and Justin as the kids, and they were super cute together. Loved them.
