UK Tour starts in Plymouth in June, and 2 months away with no cast??
Stockholm starts this October and no theatre, translator, cast, anything!
Copenhagen starts January 2009, and nothing!
Helsinki starts January 2009 and nothing!
US Tour-March 2009, Casting: Ashley Brown
Sydney-Capitol Theatre-October 2009
Budapest-Nothing-November 2009

The UK tour has been cast:

DISNEY AND CAMERON MACKINTOSH’S
AWARD-WINNING MUSICAL
MARY POPPINS

Caroline Sheen and Lisa O’Hare will star as ‘Mary Poppins’ and Daniel Crossley as ‘Bert’, in the forthcoming national tour of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s award-winning musical MARY POPPINS.

Caroline Sheen will play ‘Mary Poppins’ at the
Theatre Royal PLYMOUTH (4 June – 5 July 200,
BIRMINGHAM Hippodrome (10 July - 27 September 200
and EDINBURGH Playhouse (1 – 25 October 200.

Lisa O’Hare will play ‘Mary Poppins’ at the
EDINBURGH Playhouse (27 October – 6 December 200,
MANCHESTER Palace Theatre (10 December 2008 – 7 March 2009)
and the Wales Millennium Centre CARDIFF (11 March – 18 April 2009)

Caroline Sheen has appeared as the lead role in many West End musicals. These include Truly Scrumptious in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’, Sandy in ‘Grease’, Eponine in ‘Les Misérables’ and Florinda in ‘Into the Woods’ at the Donmar Warehouse. She was also in the original casts of ‘The Witches of Eastwick’ and ‘Mamma Mia!’.

Lisa O’Hare is currently receiving rave reviews as Eliza Doolittle in the US tour of ‘My Fair Lady’, a role she also played in the UK tour. She has also appeared as Mary Poppins in the West End production of ‘Mary Poppins’ and her other credits include ‘Anything Goes’ at the National Theatre. This Summer she will play the title role in ‘Gigi’ at the Open Air Theatre in Regent’s Park.

Daniel Crossley has appeared in the West End productions of ‘Chicago’, ‘Fosse’, ‘Anything Goes’ and ‘BoyBand’. His other credits include several seasons at the Open Air Theatre in Regent’s Park appearing in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, ‘As You Like It’ and ‘Oh, What A Lovely War’.

They will be joined by Martin Ball as ‘Mr Banks’ and Louise Bowden as ‘Mrs Banks’, Deryn Edwards as ‘Miss Andrew’, Shirley Jameson as ‘Mrs Brill’, Valda Aviks as ‘Birdwoman’ and Mark Anderson as ‘Robertson Ay’.

I definitely wishes to see Mary Poppins tour to China or better still... Hong Kong! hehe! Can't wait to see the UK Tour! Really need to sort my schedule and start booking tickets for it!
