Marymount Manhattan and Westminster Choir College

Is there anyone currently attending (or know anything about) either of these schools for musical theatre? I have applications for both but would like to know more from an actual person if possible.

Westminster was just looking for a director for their musical theater dept. Not a good sign. They just started musical theater last year so really new.

I attended Westminster when there was no MT department and directed their first two ever campus musicals. They were very snobbish and looked down on MT like it was a form that was so beneath them. Now they have a department- my times have changed!! In all honesty, WCC is probably one of the best schools on the east coast for vocal music, don't know about it MT department. Had a student who went to MM -she has nothing but good things to say about it. Good luck with your decision!!
