Posted: 6/11/13 at 10:28amI'm seeing Matilda next Thursday and was wondering which Matilda I would see. Does anybody know the Matilda's schedule? Also sometimes after Tony season some actors take a little break so does anyone know if Bertie Carvel or Gabriel Ebert is taking any time off? Thanks for the help!

Posted: 6/11/13 at 10:33amIn a recent article in The New York Times about child actors on Broadway, Warchus (the director of the show) said they are always rotating the schedule of who's going on as Matilda. Sometimes, fellow actors don't know who's going on until they actually see the actress on stage. So, I don't think that there's anyway of you finding out until you get to the theatre.

Posted: 6/11/13 at 10:59amI guess that's smart of them. Like he said its kinda annoying but makes a lot of sense. Now I haven't seen all their tv performances but I think I've seen Oona the most on tv and I haven't seen Millie on anything except all 4 of them on the Tonys. Anyone seen Millie on tv yet?

^I noticed that, too. Oona got The View and the Tonys solo, Sophia got opening night, and Bailey got Good Morning America. The cast is on David Letterman tonight; maybe Milly will get her chance tonight.
I also know they pulled Sophia's name out of a hat for opening night. They could be doing the same thing and Oona just got lucky and Milly did not.

I saw Sophia, and compared to the performance videos I've seen of the others, I think Sophia did the best job. Had no trouble understanding her at all, and her singing was fantastic.
I'm sure they will all do a great job when they're in their familiar theater environment, though. Enjoy the show!
