Matilda tour cast?

Anxious to know who I'll be seeing at the Shubert in New Haven in May. Has anyone heard any casting news?

Nothing official, but I believe based on a few things that Cassie Silva will be playing Mrs. Wormwood.

Any updates? The tour launches next month and we haven't heard a single casting announcement.

It's going to be a little disappointing if they don't cast at least one 'known' broadway veteran in it, since they're taking their sweet time announcing the cast. Most touring shows announce their cast like 6 months beforehand.

^ No they don't. Tours rarely have their cast set 6 months beforehand...a press release about a month before the launch is pretty normal.

Cassie is playing Mrs. Wormwood on tour. She left the broadway company for it. Sara Gettlefinger was in talks but it was given to Cassie.
