Posted: 8/4/08 at 9:26pmWell, i for one, would hope she'd step up to a larger, more featured role. She's not a stunning beauty, but certainly has the chops ( both singing and acting) to hold her own in more substantial roles. I'm not knocking her looks by any means. I find her very interesting to watch, and she has terrific stage presence. It's actresses like her that sometimes make a typical ingenue role all the more substantial and engaging to enjoy.

Kritzer (along with Linda Lavin and Kathy Najimy) just did a staged reading of Nora and Delia Ephron's new pay, a stage adaptation of Ilene Beckerman's book LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE.
She's currently getting ready to appear in Garson Kanin's BORN YESTERDAY at the Cape Playhouse opposite Michael McGrath later this month.

Good for her.
She needs to do ONCE UPON A MATRESS, it's early for another revival but that's her role.

Posted: 8/4/08 at 9:29pmI know what Matt's doing, but I dunno if it's public knowledge yet. But trust me--you'll be seeing him onstage again soon. :)

Yeah, isn't Curtain the resident perve on the boards?
I love Kritzer! If they ever do decide to revive Evita I'd love to hear her belt out those songs!

Cavenaugh is rumored to be playing Hollis Bessemer in The Public's fall staging of BOUNCE, as mentioned here:

Leslie Kritzer
EVITA/FUNNY GIRL/THE RINK (with Patti LuPone)/ONCE UPON A MATTRESS/SOMETHING ORIGINAL
I don't even care, but someone get this girl a show!!!!

Posted: 8/4/08 at 11:29pmI'd rather see Orfeh in EVITA.

Posted: 8/4/08 at 11:29pmWell, either way, I guess Matt will be busy. They sure are keeping the casting of Tony/Maria quite, since no one can pinpoint the actual casting.

Snippiness? Seems some are a bit oversenstive. I find him to be amusing and was simply poking fun.

Eris, you're the biggest perv on the board.
Go back to church and pray to Jesus for forgiveness, and maybe he'll even give you a free ticket to magnificent revival of GREASE.

God. I hope someday someone posts something about you where they refer to you as "not a stunning beauty". Some of the people on here are so so mean. You know those people who go to see a show 9 times a month? There should be a site where performers can post about how unattractive those people are, or how they should lose weight, or how they suck at their jobs.

Word. I've always thought she was one hot P.O.A.
And fierce as all hell.
#19re: Matt C. & Leslie K
Posted: 8/5/08 at 1:49amI agree, Orfeh as Evita would be way better than Leslie, but I would love to see Leslie in Funny Girl.
#20re: Matt C. & Leslie K
Posted: 8/5/08 at 1:50amI don't see Orfeh as Evita AT ALL. I can't even hear it in my head.
#21re: Matt C. & Leslie K
Posted: 8/5/08 at 9:54amahmelie, your far outnumbered, check past threads, many, many posters think Orfeh would be the ideal Eva Peron. Unfortunately, I don't think EVITA is coming to Broadway anytime soon so it's not a point worth debating.

Posted: 8/6/08 at 12:01amWBAF- Will he give me a ticket to Grease too? Darn, I am not Christian so I can't go to church and I guess because of that Jesus may not love me. Ahh well, I am working on that perv thing. Seems I am way down on the list of BWW pervs.
