Matt Cavenaugh (Millie Tour)

Does anyone know why Matt is leaving the "Millie" tour. I think it would be nice to see him as Link in "Hairspray".

Thank you for mentioning that. That would be pure dream casting, and he would be a perfect Link. He has the look, the voice, and the dancing abilities already. He definitely looks the part a hell of a lot more than Blake.

he's leaving the Millie tour? I just saw him last night perform....he was okay not my fav though, he put an accent on that I didn't like at all but then I heard he used the same accent for Urban Cowboy, so maybe that's his real voice? But his singing was pretty good and he is DAMN cute!!

I forgot where I read it, but it was mentioned within the last couple of weeks. I just found it strange since the tour has only been out for about 6 months.

Matt Cavenaugh (Millie Tour)

I also HATED the voice he gave his character. The reviews don't like it either.

omg he would be amazing as Link! I enjoyed Austin Miller's performance in the Hairspray tour but it is too bad Matt could not have originated Link for the tour. Would have been quite special.

I saw Urban Cowboy and went to his little solo show at the ArsNova and I'm really not impressed with that kid. I'm happy for him that he had already starred in a Broadway show (What is he, like, only 24?), but I don't think there's much depth there. He's a cutie, though. He could probably handle Link.

You didn't think he was impressive standing there in his Calvins?
