Matt Doyle solo show at Chelsea table and stage

After a rocky start, Matt got lost in his opening number "Being Alive," he knocked it out of the park.

"Pure Imagination" which followed was a delight. You could see Matt relax as the sold-out audience did too.

An hour or so later, following a few hilarious Patti tales, a brilliant duet with Bonnie Milligan and an encore of "Getting Married Today" then entire room was on their feet. 

I love this new venue. Great sound, great food and much cheaper than 54 Below. If they can keep booking talent like Matt Doyle, this place is going to be a huge hit.

Spotted Broadway World's Richie Ridge, CNN's Javi Morgado and Bruce Sussman in the audience. It was such an exciting night.
