I'm also interested in knowing when his last performance is. I got tickets about a month ago for August 17, and want to know ahead of time if I will be seeing him or someone else in the role. If anyone knows, please let me know!

I bumped into Mistress on Thursday night and I tried to get some info about when Matt is leaving Piazza but she didn't give into my "I promise I won't tell anyone and I'll be your best friend forever!" rant. I got some clues about what he's doing next so I'm very excited.

I heard that Matt might be replacing David Ayers as Fiyero in Wicked. I think he'd be great.

Well...the show is only running until January. It IS possible that the entire cast is staying on until it closes.

I belive he is contracted through the end of August, but I could be wrong. For some reason, that's what pops into my head

his replacement is on contract starting august 9th i believe... so you should be fine on the 17th... he'll probably leave within 2 weeks. so by september i think he won't be there.

Listen to his interview at Seth's Chatterbox this week. I was there, and I recall his saying he'll be with the show at least till September.

I met Mistress/Matt in sher's female form last Thursday night and tried to get info about sher's next project but it was 40 min before curtain so shim had to get up to LC and morph into Matt.

I'm betting that Matt wants to do a TV series or movie before committing to a new stage role.

Of course, as Stokes says, nowadays, TV and movie producers are so obsessed with getting "names" and are so ignorant of the New York stage world, that they'd cast reality TV stars in their movie and TV projects before they'd hire stage actors.

It's a pity that Broadway has become such a a poor relation to Tinseltown.

Okay, I guess I can no longer deny it...

I was with "Mistress" when we met Broadway Betty and well...I really was with Matt, pretending we were going to Rent, but really he just transforms into Mistress when he's with me to keep our affair a secret. He likes to see me before shows, helps him get the passion necessary for Fabrizio.

But I suppose the secret's out now...

You help out Matt/Mistress for the sake of the theatre, how good of you! I knew something was fishy when he screamed out "WickedRentQ" instead of "Clara" at the begining of "Auitami". It doesn't quite roll off the tongue but he said it!
