What are your thoughts on him?

I like his music very much. I saw Titanic being performed last summer at my camp. This year they're doing Grand Hotel and I have the cast recording to Nine. My favorite of all of those is Nine. I don't understand why he isn't more famous or acclaimed. His musicals are certainly better than those of Frank Wildhorn or Andrew Lloyd Webber.

I love Maury Yeston's music. You should pick up the Maury Yeston Song book its a great album and a lot of songs that never made it into shows!

I have it! I orginally got it because Sutton Foster was on it, but now I truly love it!

I've only ever heard one of his complete scores, and that's "Nine". I love it though. It's one of my favorite musical theatre scores.

Maury Yeston is a genious. I much prefer his "Phantom" to ALW's.
It was so much deeper.

And I'll know your brow
Let me know your face like your music"

I must agree, Yeston's music is underrated and amazing. Our local theater company is doing his version of "Phantom" as our spring production. Auditions are next week, and i'm completely stoked!
